Both are equally good in their own respects. The original had distinct brush strokes and much more saturated colors to give an artsy look.

I think Before is good as well, it just very different style I think. However, CG technique wise the new version is amazingly well done. I love the addition of red ribbons and wave of sea-through material.

ha ha tell me about it ^^; I'm constantly trying out new style that I find interesting at the time, you learn lot from these exercises I think. You'll eventually have a style you can call it your own once you taken in all the elements you like from different techniques. Until then I say enjoy the changes ;)

Oh, and read some good advices from Noah Bradley too ! Or Cynthia Shepard ! Or Muddy Colors ! Or Fantasio ! And watch toooooooooons of good pic on DA, CGhub... and painting process on YT like those from Donato Giancola ! oh and also, practice :iconlaplz:

That worked for me at least :D

Don't say that ! It's the wrong way of thinking ! You'd better feel motivated and grab your pen and practice right away !

I think I might lay off the tablet for a while, and just focus on improving my skills on paper. Since I'm still not used to the tablet and my anatomy and line control is much better on paper.
After I'm a bit better I'll probably do some more digital work.
Oh and it's alright, how's college?

Ahahah yeah, that's great ! There's nothing greater than feeling the paper ! That's why I bought a Cintiq, to have that "traditional feeling" ahah XD
You should keep a blog or something to show your progress ! :D

College has been pretty hectic these past couple of weeks ;w; I needed to re-do all my script for my animation project... The story was just that bad.. ahah... OTZ
But well, I guess my new story is more appealing to my teachers now ;w;

True, that is very true. Paper is much better.

:noes: How long did it take to redo it all, I mean surely that must of been annoying.

Paper and traditionnal art FTW ! :D

Well, in fact I was thinking of changing my first script anyway so it wasn't that annoying XD
I redid it in my head in........... 10 mins XD

I'm on the storyboard stage now ^^ So everything is set up :iconcreepylaaplz:
