Well, if you haven't played as of yet, she tried to sell out her brother for her own freedom, and if you didn't stop him... he, her brother, would of killed her >_<

I requested this picture for my story, in which I try to present some of Varania's potential viewpoint (I always thought Danarius manipulated her). Danarius isn't so easily defeated and Hawke ends up taking Fenris's place. Back in Tevinter, Varania is beginning to realize the truth about Danarius and what really happened.
